



MOHU is planning a state-of-the-art energy recovery waste treatment facility near Százhalombatta that, according to official information, will comply with the strictest European Union environmental regulations.
The project aims to reduce landfill dependency while increasing energy recovery efficiency. The planned facility will comply with all Hungarian regulatory requirements and meet the highest European environmental standards while utilizing the most advanced technologies currently available.
The plant will be capable of processing approximately 360,000 tons of waste annually, including:
Modern waste-to-energy facilities help reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills, generate energy, and support the achievement of environmental sustainability goals.
Construction of the MOL Hazardous Waste Incineration Facility is planned to begin in 2025, with completion expected by 2028.
