MOL Campus – An Innovative Headquarters for the MOL Group

We are proud to have contributed to the MOL Campus, the new headquarters of the MOL Group — one of the most iconic and technically ambitious office developments in Central and Eastern Europe.

This 28-storey, 143-meter-high building combines sustainable engineering solutions with cutting-edge architectural design and is the first development in the Hungarian market to achieve both BREEAM Excellent and LEED Platinum certifications.

Designed to support 2,500 employees in flexible working environments, the building incorporates geothermal heating and cooling systems, solar energy technologies, greywater recycling, and advanced building automation systems, setting a new benchmark for sustainable corporate facilities in the region.

MOL Hazardous Waste Incineration Facility

MOHU is planning a state-of-the-art energy recovery waste treatment facility near Százhalombatta that, according to official information, will comply with the strictest European Union environmental regulations.

The project aims to reduce landfill dependency while increasing energy recovery efficiency. The planned facility will comply with all Hungarian regulatory requirements and meet the highest European environmental standards while utilizing the most advanced technologies currently available.

The plant will be capable of processing approximately 360,000 tons of waste annually, including:

300,000 tons of municipal solid waste
30,000 tons of residual waste from sorting processes
30,000 tons of industrial waste

Modern waste-to-energy facilities help reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills, generate energy, and support the achievement of environmental sustainability goals.

Construction of the MOL Hazardous Waste Incineration Facility is planned to begin in 2025, with completion expected by 2028.
